Earlier this month, Micron Technology and its partners celebrated the foundation pouring ceremony for the company’s $100 billion semiconductor manufacturing campus in Clay, marking the start of vertical construction less than six months after groundbreaking.
Once complete, the campus is expected to become the largest semiconductor manufacturing site in U.S. history, with plans for up to four leading-edge fabrication plants. The project is projected to create approximately 9,000 direct Micron jobs, support tens of thousands of indirect jobs across New York, and generate billions of dollars in economic activity over the coming decades.
