Matt Funiciello graduated from Siena College in Albany, NY in 2015 with a degree in Business Management. Matt joined his father, John, at JF Real Estate as a real estate salesperson after becoming licensed in New York State and receiving a Masters in Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University in 2018. Matt also has a dual position as a Property Manager for Partnership Properties, the managing company for many of the buildings exclusively represented by JF Real Estate. Previously, Matt worked for two years in retail management as a manager of Target stores in Albany, NY.

Since 2018, Matt has completed transactions totaling over 40 million dollars and over 500,000 square feet, including deals with companies such as Adirondack Bank, NAVY Recruiting, Farmers Insurance, Nurse Connection Staffing, NOFA-NY, Drive Research, SDS-RX, Xavier Optical, ARISE, Prime Time Marketing, Reisman Foundation, Eastern Shore Associates, SUNY EOC, and Elite Gaming.

Matt is deeply committed to community improvement, currently enrolled in Leadership Greater Syracuse, and actively involved in the Centerstate CEO Ambassadors Program. Additionally, he serves on the Fund Development Committee for OnPoint for College and is a board member of the Center for Community Alternatives. In 2024, Matt was honored as a Central New York Business Journal 40 Under Forty recipient.
